After my jobs on Wednesday March 14, I decided to pay a visit to Lindo Lake in Lakeside, California to see what birds I might find there. The first birds I met there were Canada Geese that seemed to object to my choice of a parking spot. Shortly after I started my walk, I began to notice there were LOTS of Wood Ducks, both seemingly paired and unpaired. Anyone who has ever seen one of these in their finest garments would not soon forget them, as they are truly one of the most spectacularly adorned birds on the planet.
